HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Absolutely amazing team. I personally worked with Dee, however I am 100% sure that all are very very good.

Me and my husband, both had some fertility issues and have been trying for nearly 10 years.

Dee was recommended by a friend and I didn’t hesitate to contact her. She helped to track any single problem that could prevent a pregnancy by running some tests and then recommended supplements and diet that helped.

When GP was only talking about my problems, Dee was looking at both and made sure we were both healthy.

We were so thrilled to find out that we were expecting which wasn’t the end actually. We continued working together through my whole pregnancy, making sure I take all the necessary vitamins for my body to be able carry a healthy baby.

Healthy mama, healthy baby!

I had such an easy pregnancy (I kept telling Dee, that I don’t feel pregnant at all :))) and no postpartum issues.

All my friends warned me to be ready for falling hair, gum diseases etc. but I had non of that and I know it’s because my body wasn’t deficient of any vitamin or mineral.

I am super proud to say that now I am a mum of beautiful baby boy.

Knowing that Dee and her team exist gives me a comfort as I know that if we ever have some health issues in the future (touch wood), I’ll contact them straight away.

My partner and I had been struggling to conceive for over a year prior to working with Dee at Coho Fertility.

Since coming off the contraceptive pill my cycle had not regulated and I had many unanswered questions around my health.

Although I did much research myself into functional testing, supplements and lifestyle changes to assist my journey it had become a confusing minefield of options which resulted in me needing guidance.

Working with Coho Fertility gave me the access to functional testing not available on the NHS / without a practitioner that could give me more insight into the possible causes of my infertility.

They also interpreted the results which would be very difficult/impossible alone.

My partner also worked with a member of the Coho Fertility team, our results combined identified issues that resulted in us having our NHS funded IVF round as an ICSI round (rather than standard IVF which would have likely failed) and I have gone on to have a successful pregnancy from this for which we are extremely grateful.

Although we didn’t manage to conceive naturally which has been our original hope, we do feel that the diet and lifestyle changes plus supplements aided us in getting pregnant on our first and only NHS funded round of IVF/ICSI.

I have learnt valuable information around diet and lifestyle that I will aim to retain and continue to use going forward.

I would recommend Coho Fertility, Dee has been kind and supportive throughout my journey and I would recommend to anyone requiring guidance and direction on their fertility journey.

Thanks Coho Fertility.

My husband and I have been trying for a baby for over 11 years.

I was introduced to Dee through Naava Carmen and between the two of them we have had the best care and service.

An individual plan made and based on many varying factors.

Happy to say I’m 7 months pregnant and I feel that Dee is a little earth angel who helped us and had a massive impact on our journey!

Would recommend over and over again 🌟

I had been trying for a good while, was diagnosed with low AMH and had a miscarriage.

After that I tried medicated cycles for a while until moving on to ED IVF.

Thanks to Coho Fertility, not only have I had supplements that are tailored for me, but I could also do many tests that helped put a laser focus on my situation and tackle issues from different perspectives.

I have now had a baby through ED IVF and I’m currently pregnant with a second.

I am 100% that Coho Fertility expertise helped me reach these goals.

A very important thing that I learned is that fertility is such a complex matter, that traditional medicine is not equipped to address on its own. Furthermore, I have learnt that traditional medicine doesn’t even attempt to address some aspects of fertility that are pivotal for success and are instead the focus of complementary medicine and Coho Fertility are experts in this.

I just would love for people on this journey to realise that there is so much more that can be done and investigated, and that you need someone who knows about it, believes in this and whose mission is to help you and empower you to advocate for yourself too.

I’d 100% recommend Coho Fertility, because I wouldn’t have been able to do half of what I did to discover issues, and find solutions , if it hadn’t been for Coho Fertility, knowledge, availability and support.

I was attempting to take supplements to support my journey to have a baby.

However, I only had a very tiny amount of what I needed to take & really didn’t have the correct knowledge to do so.

I felt secure & had full trust in Dee’s advice and recommendations for supplements. I knew that anything that was recommended would not interact or disrupt any medications that I was already on.

I also was very comforted to know that Dee showed an genuine empathy in my journey to having a baby, which was successful.

I now have a beautiful baby boy.

I have realised that supplements can really help your body to be supported correctly and to its benefit. However, the correct guidance & knowledge is necessary to achieve this.

Dee certainly provides this.

The service provided is thorough. From recommendations for testing, supports and a personal interest in supporting your goals to being part of the journey with you.

I’d absolutely recommend Coho Fertility, for the professionalism, the empathy, and for always feeling your interests/goal is at the heart of their goals for you.

I had some issues with my immune system, fertility issues conceiving my second child, an autoimmune thyroid disorder, lots of muscle aches, plus some escalating allergic reactions to more and more foods, which were becoming quite scary.

I felt like my immune system was beginning to spiral out of my control and I was worried about developing further autoimmune conditions.

I feel like I have so much more knowledge and understanding now and much more control over my health.

I made big long term changes to my diet- which Dee made manageable for me by hearing what would / wouldn’t be doable for me and encouraging me to make the tough changes.

I felt empowered and motivated to do this by the knowledge that Dee gave me in terms of what impact my diet / microbiome and the resulting effect on my gut might be having on my immune system.

I rid myself of some unwanted microorganisms in my tummy which had probably been the culprits behind some of my issues, without using antibiotics.

I lost a lot of weight without even trying and have so enjoyed feeling more my body’s natural size again.

Most importantly the body aches/ allergic reactions have reduced.

I feel like my body is less inflamed generally and functioning better- which has been life-changing and enhancing.

My menstrual cycles have greatly settled again, despite being of perimenopausal age. I am able to eat out again! And eat without fear.

I feel so much better.

Through a personalised programme of testing and diet/supplement protocols, Dee’s guidance gave me evidence through personal experience the difference that changes in diet and lifestyle can create, using evidence-supported gentle natural supplements and medicines.

It often led me to do my own further research too. I have learnt so many insights about my own personal health profile; my microbiome, hormones, even certain elements of my DNA and how it impacts me!

I have learned about the foods/ lifestyle and supplements that do and don’t support my health and body and the way I can do this as naturally as possible.

As she is so client-centred and such a good listener, we figured out some things together. I am still learning, and still completely engaged in learning.

Dee is an amazing professional – she has so much knowledge and expertise but is also very patient and gently encouraging.

I felt like she really understands my vulnerability but also had the confidence and knowledge to guide and help me connect with my strength to make the changes needed to achieve better health outcomes for myself.

I feel a genuine care for me and my family and a desire to share knowledge about health to improve peoples’ lives. I can’t thank her or recommend her enough.

We tried for a good year, a year and a half before I spoke to my doctor and said, you know, this just isn’t working.

So we were both sent for tests initially, and then everything came back perfect.

They said, keep trying for a few more months and see what happens, and if nothing happens we can refer you to a couple of different fertility clinics.

Nothing happened.

So we started the infertility journey through fertility clinics.

They did more testing.

They came back with everything looks great, let’s try a few rounds of IUI, I’m sure it’s just timing.

After four rounds of IUI, we moved on to IVF, and I thought, okay, IVF, we’re definitely gonna have a baby through the first round.

I kind of went in a little blindly, not really preparing myself, my body, and just thought, oh, IVF, I’ll be pregnant right away.

We ended up in total doing three full rounds of retrieval. With those retrievals, we only got five or six eggs that were viable. None of them implanted.

They did some exploratory surgery to see if I had endometriosis, or fibroids, if my tubes were clear, and that was all picture perfect.

So then they said, well, you just have low ovarian reserve.

And eventually, I just needed to stop the IVF journey. My body, my mental state, and my body were just shot.

After the second round of IVF is when I actually found this membership and really started working on myself, both mentally and physically. Learning things that I didn’t even take into consideration through my first couple of rounds of IVF.

Everything from diet to meditation, different types of exercise, just general support too.

What I learned through this program and different diets, and help with some different testings that I had done, was that my body was inflamed due to some gastro issues.

I eventually had my gallbladder out because I had the right tests done by my general, as suggested from Dee.

And once I had got those situations under control I was able to fall pregnant naturally, which was a very big and happy surprise.

The program helped me look at the big picture and helped me advocate for myself with my doctors and say something is not right. Whether it was just the fertility issues or I knew something else was going on with my body.

I was eating the healthiest I was ever eating, I was exercising regularly, and I still didn’t feel my optimal self. And, you know, I didn’t even know what kind of tests to ask for or how to advocate for myself.

Dee wrote a letter and explained to my doctor what tests I should have and why.

And that’s when they realised that it was my gallbladder, and then they sent me for more tests to confirm yes, that needs to come out.

And once it was out, I didn’t realise how – I don’t want to say sick – but how not well I felt until my body was actually functioning in a place where it should be.

Without this program, I probably would have thrown in the towel years ago. Never figured out my other health issues and probably wouldn’t have, wouldn’t be here expecting our first child.

We’ve been trying for six years. And at one point I just felt like my life had been put on hold.

We had skipped going on vacation due to fertility treatments and I wasn’t going out with friends as much because I didn’t want to be drinking, or explaining to them what was going on.

It got to the point where I realised my life wasn’t healthy anymore, even though I was the healthiest I’d ever been.

Just, I didn’t have a social life anymore.

We weren’t going on vacation.

I wasn’t enjoying the everyday thing.

And that, a couple of times, is when I was like, that’s it we’re done, I can’t let this control every aspect of my life.

And it did get pretty dark a couple of times when I had some guilt of, oh, I can’t have a baby, I got him to the point where he really wanted kids, and now we can’t do that.

So after my third round of IVF, my cycle was all over the place.

And that was something that I never had issues with. I was always 28, 29 days. The length of my cycle was fine.

And then all of a sudden I was 40 days, I was 17 days, I was 30 days, it was all over the place.

So I started looking at what to do to get the most fertile cycle. I also called my OB and I was actually afraid I was going into early menopause because all of a sudden my cycle was all over the place.

My OB sent me for some tests, probably the same test I took originally back five years prior. And she called me and she said your numbers are great, you – and they – were the best that they had ever been throughout this entire fertility journey.

My FSH, AMH were wonderful, and that was kind of actually the spark of, something else is going on, because if my ovarian reserve is not depleting like the fertility clinic thought it was, why am I still not getting pregnant?

That’s when I started meeting with Dee regularly and she helped me with the other tests that I had done, for my other health issues.

There’s a lot of things that you’re going to spend money on while you’re trying to conceive, especially if you go IVF or IUI route. And I feel like this is one of the most important places to invest in yourself because you get an overall picture of what is going on, what you can look at that could be going on with you.

So my husband and I got married about three years ago.

And just given our age, we started trying to get pregnant right away, then after six months of no success, just again with age, we went to an OB GYN and she immediately did some tests on me.

We ended up going through three rounds of insemination with no success.

And each time, you know, they would analyse my husband’s sperm count and things at that point.

And they said they were fine every time.

And my follicles were looking solid, so again, she said, we don’t know what’s going on, don’t know why these things are happening. And she said, given my age, we needed to go to IVF and we just weren’t in a place where we wanted to do that yet.
One for the cost. And it’s just a shot in the dark.

And then I got pregnant naturally within the next cycle, but then I miscarriage at about six and a half weeks.

When I first started the membership, and especially working with Dee I let her know right away that I have a history of an eating disorder and so I had a little bit of fear, kind of, adjusting diet, and those sorts of things.

And so I was nervous. And I felt like Dee was very receptive to that. And she started off with very small changes for me. I still don’t feel like I made these gigantic changes where I was uncomfortable with it, but we started off very small.

Even just switching over some of the items that have gluten in it, we started making those small changes in my diet.

So when we [next] did IVF, they do a blood test to confirm whether you’re pregnant or not. And it’s about nine days after the transfer.

So you’re just kind of waiting.

And, I will say within three to four days after the transfer, I felt something, a change in my body.

I just kind of felt like a little bit of pressure kind of down in the womb area. It got to the point where I called my doctor as I was a little worried.

And the nurse said, well, you might just be that in tune with your body. And she said, that may be the early signs of implantation and you’re just very in tune with the feelings.

And so she said now try not to cheat and try not to do a pregnancy test at home or anything. Which was very hard.

But as I read there’s so many false positives, and false negatives early after IVF transfer that I thought, okay, I don’t want to, again, the mental part, I don’t want to put myself in a position where I’m thinking, I’m misinterpreting things.

And so I waited.

The way it worked was I got an email with the blood results prior to the doctor calling me, and they didn’t intend for that to happen.

It was the kind of third-party organisation that sent out the email. And so I get a score.

And I don’t know what it means because it doesn’t say yes, you’re pregnant or not.

It’s just like, here’s the number.

So then I’m frantically – and I’m at work – and I’m frantically trying to look up to see what it is.

And I thought it indicated that I was pregnant, but of course I was like, is that real?

Is it real?

Then they called me within the hour and told me, and my husband actually teaches at my school and so I called him up to my office.

You know, I said “Hey, when on your prep, when you get a break, come up here” and he knew that was the day.

And so he was very, very scared. I mean, he was white as a ghost, like just not knowing.

And I told him we were pregnant and he didn’t believe me.

He was just like, are you sure?

And I said “Yes, I’m positive”.

And I’m so happy. And then, the nurse did caution me. She said, if we have to do another test in 24 to 48 hours, this test is as important as the test that you had today.

So, I was trying to be excited, but then it was kind of like, okay, here we go again. I can’t get excited about something.

And then they confirmed it.

I felt like I had physically prepared my body and helped it get to that point where even as they start to control it, my body was still responding in the way that it needed to respond.

The diet piece was big because there was a part that I was inclined to just go back to what I was doing and, with doing so much to your body, with IVF and putting so many hormones and so many things into your body, I thought I really need to make sure I stay on with the diet and the nutrition to keep that inflammation down and because you just don’t know how your body’s going to respond to the hormones.

So I didn’t feel a ton of side effects from the IVF medication. And I do believe that’s from the work that was done in the membership.

And when I joined the membership, there were so many different things that happened for me.

You know, there was the physical with the diet changes. There was the physical with my headaches start going away, my back pain starts going away.

So I’m naturally starting to feel better. I’m not so irritable. I’m not, and that affects how you go about your daily life.

Obviously, the pregnancy is wonderful, but I got so much more out of it, things that I will continue every day in life and that will continue to impact me.
